Ingredients
- 1 banana
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- Milk of choice
- 1–2 tsp Morning Made Matcha Latte
Method
- Make the banana syrup. In a saucepan, mash together the banana, water, brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract.
- Simmer. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook until the mixture thickens slightly. Strain through a sieve to create a smooth syrup.
- Assemble. Pour a few tablespoons of banana syrup into a glass, add ice, pour in milk of choice, and top with 1–2 tsp Morning Made Unsweetened Matcha.
- Optional foam. Mix a little banana syrup with cream to make a sweet banana cold foam for topping.
