Viral Matcha Dot Cake

Made with Morning Made Unsweetened Matcha Time 5 mins prep + bake time per packet Difficulty Easy Makes 1 cake
Ingredients
  • 1 box vanilla cake mix
  • Ingredients listed on the cake mix packet (usually eggs, oil, milk or water)
  • 1 tbsp Morning Made Unsweetened Matcha
  • 1 tub vanilla icing/frosting
  • 1–2 cups 100s & 1000s
Method
  1. Preheat. Preheat oven and prepare the cake mix following the packet instructions.
  2. Add matcha. Add 1 tbsp Morning Made Unsweetened Matcha to the cake batter and mix until smooth and evenly combined. Add an extra splash of milk if needed.
  3. Bake. Pour batter into a lined or greased cake tin and bake according to packet directions.
  4. Cool. Allow the cake to cool completely.
  5. Shape. Press a cup firmly down onto the cake, then lift to release a round portion. Repeat for each serve.
  6. Frost. Spread vanilla icing evenly over the top of each portion.
  7. Coat. Cover generously with 100s & 1000s.
  8. Chill. Chill for 15–20 minutes to set the top.
