Ingredients
- For the Blueberry Syrup:
- 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup water
- ½ tsp lemon juice
- For the Latte:
- 2 tsp Morning Made Matcha
- ¼ cup warm water
- ¾ cup milk of choice
- 2–3 tbsp cooled blueberry syrup (to taste)
- Ice
Method
- Make the blueberry syrup. In a small saucepan, combine blueberries, sugar, and water. Simmer gently for 8–10 minutes, stirring and lightly mashing the berries as they soften.
- Strain and cool. Strain through a fine sieve to remove skins, pressing to extract as much liquid as possible. Stir in lemon juice and let cool completely.
- Prepare the matcha. Whisk 2 tsp Morning Made Matcha with ¼ cup warm water until smooth and frothy.
- Assemble the latte. Fill a glass with ice, add 2–3 tbsp blueberry syrup, pour in milk, and then top with the prepared matcha.
- Finish. Stir gently before drinking or enjoy the beautiful layered look.
